What this
actually involves.
Merch design turns an idea into graphics and visual concepts for apparel or branded items. It can involve a statement print, a small chest graphic, a back design or a coordinated set. The creative work considers the audience, garment color, scale, placement and the feeling of the collection, rather than treating every item as the same logo on a blank shirt.
Who this can help
Creators building merchandise, small labels exploring a drop, and businesses making branded apparel or gifts.
What we can work on
- 01
Develop a graphic or collection direction.
- 02
Explore placement, color and scale on selected items.
- 03
Prepare the agreed artwork for your chosen production method.
How the project works
Start by sharing your goal, the materials you have and any deadline. I’ll review what you need and clarify the scope before the creative work begins.
We’ll agree on the direction, deliverables, review stages and the information you need to provide. Feedback is gathered around that agreed brief, and final delivery follows the scope confirmed in your proposal.
Possible deliverables
- Graphic concepts
- Placement and color direction
- Merchandise presentation mockups
Agreed design artwork and presentation mockups. Garment development, manufacturing, embroidery digitizing and print production are separate services unless arranged in the project scope.
A question you might have
Are the mockups actual manufactured products?
No. Mockups help you visualize the design. Your supplier determines production requirements, materials, pricing and physical results. Share those requirements before final artwork is prepared.
